Are We Being Blind, Stupid, is this some PC Death Wish?

Did you hear about the suicide bomber at the college football game last week? No? Neither did I.

I did read about some kid who killed himself on the campus of the University of Oklahoma. They said he was some smart but lonely freshman and no one knew what drove him to kill himself, etc., etc.

I'm hearing now, however, that this kid didn't shoot himself, or take some pills, or hang himself in his dorm room. He was outside the Univ. of OK football stadium -- which coincidentally was filled with 80,000 people watching a game -- when his backpack filled with explosives went off.

Now, is this the typical way someone commits suicide? Or, perhaps, was this an attempted terrorist attack that was only foiled because the bomb went off prematurely?

9/11 was four years and more than a lifetime ago for some people. Why is the media ignoring this story? Do we have to wait until x thousand more people die -- again -- before we wake up and take the threat of terrorism seriously?
