"I Have Changed My Mind About Harriett Miers ..."

So says John Fund of the WSJ's Political Diary in an article here.

Fund says that Miers is a stealth candidate even among conservatives. About the only person who seems to know her is Pres. Bush. However, my thinking is like that of a number of conservatives in rejecting the "trust me" assurances coming from the White House.

And believe me, I'm about as far from an elitist as you can get. :-)
